Bird Feeders

In this post, we are going to be making bird feeders!
I have been spending a lot of time in the garden with my little boy over the past few weeks and we have really enjoyed feeding the birds,
so we thought this week we would have a go at making our own bird feeders - and we’d love for you to join in too!

You can keep these really simple or get creative with your designs, choosing different shapes and creating patterns with your seeds.

You will need:
- Cardboard
- Pencil or Pen
- Bird Seed
- Peanut butter (or coconut oil)
- String or ribbon
- Teaspoon
- Scissors

Draw & Cut Out: First you need to draw a shape onto cardboard. You can design your own or draw around an object from your house.

Cut out your shape and make a small hole in the top for later - you may need a grown-up to help with this bit.

Spread: Spread peanut butter onto your shape using the back of a teaspoon.

Sprinkle: Cover your shape with birdseed so that it sticks to the peanut butter.

Hang Up: Use some string to hang your bird feeder in a tree.
